The New Inn is a small thatched pub close to the Helford River and St. Anthony. There are lots of scenic walks around the area as well as sailing on the river. The New Inn is easily accessible from the whole of the Lizard Peninsula and we are approximately 10 miles from Helston.
The pub itself is situated in the picturesque village of Manaccan which has a wonderful church with a fig tree growing out of its wall. Manaccan has a very good shop and post office and we are also close to Sailaway at St. Anthony which is great for boat hire. The beach nearby is perfect for children that want to play. Helford is a 15 minute walk away - another lovely place to visit.
Cream teas and light snacks including children's meals served during afternoons on Saturday and Sunday during the season. Dogs and children are welcome at the New Inn. There is a large garden and car park at the rear of the pub. Large parties are also welcome, although prior notice would be appreciated. The New Inn has a licence for the conduction of civil marriage ceremonies, although the maximum number for the ceremony is 50 people.
