Tendera is the seaward of a group of three cottages situated at the top of the hill leading down to the sheltered beach and creek of St. Anthony, a five minute walk away.
The Cottage was originally built to house the coastguards who kept watch over the entrance of the Helford River and the southern part of Falmouth Bay. It has spectacular views across the bay towards St. Mawes, and from the bedrooms there are superb views over Dennis Head and Gillan Creek as well.
The Cottage is light and bright, and very well equipped. The living room and dining room both provide plenty of space for a family to spread out, while the good-sized kitchen looks out over the garden towards St. Mawes. There is a large level lawn with a picnic table where children can play in safety well away from the lane. A woodburner brings warmth and comfort to out-of-season holidays.
