Landurrow is set at the head of Gillan Creek and has been renovated to an extremely high and stylish standard.  The heart of the cottage is the wonderful kitchen/dining room which overlooks the creek and opens onto a large timbered deck and a lawn sheltering behind the sea wall. The fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops really does have every convenience. There is also a warm, cosy living room with plenty of seating around a wood-burning stove. It is possible to keep sails and wet gear in the garden hut and there is plenty of off-road parking. Solid oak floors downstairs have very effective under-floor heating.

From Carne, at the head of the tidal Creek, a quiet mile long creekside lane leads to St. Anthony. There are also lovely walks to Manaccan, and around National Trust property a couple of hundred yards away.  The water frontage at Landurrow enables a kayak or rowing boat to be kept alongside for use at high water.
